Somewhere between Tehran and Winnipeg, in a mysterious and surreal in-between zone, the lives of several characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. Elementary school students Negin and Nazgol find a sum of money frozen in winter ice and attempt to retrieve it. Meanwhile, Massoud leads an increasingly confused group of tourists through Winnipeg’s monuments and historic sites. Matthew leaves his meaningless job in a Quebecois government office and embarks on a mysterious journey to visit his mother. Space, time, and personal identity fade, intertwine, and echo in a surreal comedy of misrepresentation.
